I am not a Dalit. But I am all for Dalit empowerment. Reservations should continue until each and every dalit family is uplifted. Creamy Dalits should give way to lesser unfortunate dalits. Reservations in constituencies should be restricted to 10 years so that many more dalit families are exposed to politics.

Hopefully in another 10 generations atleast we can eliminate the caste system

Recent UMASANKAR IAS controversy has made deep wounds in the minds of the educated dalits, Organisations like TNUEF, SC&ST associations,Devendrakula vellalar organisations etc voiced their resentment through their respective forums.
